Our Story
Located in Buffalo, NY, our story is a simple one. Following many years at a large-volume Ford dealership where she did all accounting office jobs except Billing & Title, Sheila moved to the Service Department as warranty administrator. There she processed up to 100 claims per day while filling in as dispatcher, service writer, and customer service. Sheila assisted with the transition to Reynolds & Reynolds computer and has since mastered ADP, UCS, PBS, ADP Alliance, Arkona, Autosoft and Automate.
Following the birth of her 3 kids, Sheila worked part time as an administrator at a company in Buffalo, NY so she could raise her children.
In 2002, she became General Manager of that same company for the next 13 years and grew their business from 12 to 45 dealers!
In 2015, she formed Direct Warranty Solutions and with a strong team & solid professionalism, has begun to grow and looks forward to serving dealerships across the country for many, many years!
Elise had the opportunity to join Direct Warranty Solutions at the end of 2019. She has her doctorate in physical therapy, but wanted to expand her knowledge outside of the healthcare industry. While Elise still practices physical therapy, she enjoys a little variety within her week of warranty processing. She enjoys spending as much time as possible with family and friends, cooking, and playing softball.
In late 2020, Sheila’s son, Alan, decided to join the DWS. Under Sheila’s training, Alan has become an important part of the team, ensuring repairs are paid in full the first time through. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and backpacking the many trails around Buffalo.
